Hello and a warm welcome to the Church of England in Melksham.

Melksham is an attractive historic town on the River Avon which is experiencing dramatic growth.  It has a long industrial heritage and is home to many well known companies

We are on a very exciting journey with God, who motivates and enlivens us.  He makes a real difference to our lives.  In the last few years we have grown from three traditional buildings in the town centre, Forest and Beanacre to include Messy Church and a new worshipping community, Food4Thought, in East Melksham.

Melksham has a great Christian heritage stretching back over a thousand years.  For many years the town hosted a convention that rivalled Keswick. More recently the Family of Churches was one of the first and most effective ecumenical partnerships of its kind.  The churches in Melksham have a vision for growth and a growing sense that God is going to bless our town.

God seems to really bless what we do when we pull together and this has been most noticeable in our children and families work with lots of new families joining in Messy Church.  Cherubs, our parent-and-toddler groups, are thriving and our baptism ministry is growing.

As a Parish we offer a variety of styles of worship ranging from the traditional to the unexpected, hopefully something for everybody.  Please browse our site and, if you like what you see, come and join us on the journey!
