The Melksham Team of three churches (St. Andrews, St. Barnabas and St. Michael & All Angels) has developed a close and productive relationship with other churches in the Town through the Melksham Family of Churches. This is widely regarded as one of the most advanced ecumenical partnerships in the area. The Covenant between the partner churches dates back to 1985, but was resigned on 19th January 2003 (see below for a copy of the signed Covenant document).  It is revewed each year in January at the Annual Covenant Service.

In 2013 the Covenant Service was held in St. Michaels and Revd. Barry Blackford was our speaker.

One of the key strengths of the Melksham Family of Churches is the unity between the church leaders who have met to pray together each week since committing to do so at Pentecost 2000.  To read more about this read this article.

Just some of the ways in which the churches work together include a much used Food Bank for the Town and 'Healing on the Streets' in Melksham Market Place each Saturday.  Members of the Melksham Family of Churches are also very closely involved in setting up a debt counselling service in the Town.
